This was taken at the RB pool, and I thought the horizontal lines created by the swimmers made a clear impression on their movement in the water. Their heads also show which direction they're swimming. With them in a variably blue deep pool, I wish I caught it during a moment when their swimming caused more prominent ripples in the water, which would have also been a good clue.
Tuesday
I took this at an angle which suggested the man was walking downhill, thus adding velocity to his brisk pace. I felt like the composition worked well too, with him standing out from the deep green background, and the red curb drawing our attention to the sidewalk, letting us know what it is.

Spencer I can totally see the lines you were talking about in that first photo. I think another thing that could have helped movement in that first photo would have been if the other girl's head was up out of the water - then our eyes would have had another head to move back to from the other swimmer. I really like the complimentary colors in the second picture. I think this adds to the movement because our eyes go from the curb to the man to the different colored trees in the background. The last picture is interesting. I can see that you were going for the line on the pavement leading us to the truck which works. Maybe if you got closer to the line and further down on the ground that would have given us a stronger perspective.
